Our struts come with a high-tack self-adhesive strip already applied to the mounting flange. Simply peel off the backing paper and press the strut firmly onto the back of your board. For the best bond, ensure the surface of your card is clean and free of dust or oils.
Where is the best position to stick the strut on the card?
For maximum stability, the bottom of the strut should be flush with the bottom edge of your showcard. This ensures the weight is distributed evenly and prevents the display from leaning too far back or tipping forward.
Can these struts be used on foam board or Correx?
Yes. The heavy-duty adhesive is designed to bond with a variety of substrates, including MDF, foam PVC, 5mm foam board, and corrugated plastic (Correx). If using on a very porous surface, applying firm pressure during the initial stick is key to a long-lasting hold.
