Fabric Displays & Lightboxes

Fabric Displays & Lightboxes

  1. Fabric Displays: Fabric displays are a type of exhibit or promotional display that uses fabric or textile materials for graphic printing. These displays are commonly used in trade shows, conferences, retail settings, and other events where visual impact is crucial. The fabric used in these displays is typically stretched tightly over a frame to create a smooth and vibrant surface for printed graphics.

There are various types of fabric displays, including:

    • SEG Silicone Edge Graphic Displays: These are displays made from an extrusion that accepts a fabric graphic. The graphics usually have a silicone keder/strip stitched to the edges that are pushed into the extrusion to create an edge to edge seamless display.

    • Fabric Pop-Up Displays: These are portable displays where a fabric graphic is attached to a collapsible frame. They are easy to set up and transport, making them popular for events.

    • Tension Fabric Displays: These displays use a tension fabric system, where the fabric is stretched over a lightweight frame to create a seamless and visually appealing display.

    • Fabric Banners: These are large banners made of fabric material, often printed with high-resolution graphics. They can be hung or mounted for visibility.

Fabric displays are preferred for their lightweight nature, ease of transportation, and the ability to create high-quality, wrinkle-resistant graphics.

  2. Lightboxes: Lightboxes are displays that use backlighting to enhance the visibility and vibrancy of graphics. They typically consist of a frame, a translucent graphic panel, and internal lighting. The light source behind the graphic panel illuminates the displayed content, making it stand out in low-light environments. Lightboxes are often used for advertising, branding, and displaying promotional messages.

There are different types of lightboxes, including:

    • LED Lightboxes: These use LED lights for illumination, providing energy-efficient and long-lasting lighting. LED technology also allows for even illumination across the entire display.

    • Wall-Mounted or Freestanding Lightboxes: Depending on the application, lightboxes can be mounted on walls or used as freestanding displays.

Combining fabric displays with lightboxes is a popular choice for creating visually striking and attention-grabbing exhibits. The fabric material enhances the quality of the printed graphics, while the backlighting of the lightbox adds an extra layer of visual appeal. This combination is commonly used in retail environments, trade shows, and events where businesses want to showcase their products or messages in a captivating way.
