A rustic, soft plain weave with flammé and slub-like effects has been produced from 92% polyester (48% of which is made from Repreve plastic bottle waste yarn) and 8% natural linen. Uncoated for paper sublimation printing, this textile lends itself to the creation of cushion covers, curtains, wall hangings and drapery. Please note textile widths will vary +/- 2% from batch to batch due to variances in finishing/processing.What is "Eco-Natural" linen-look polyester? This fabric is a high-performance textile engineered to replicate the irregular weave and "slub" texture of natural flax linen. While it looks like a traditional organic fiber, it is made from advanced polyester strands. This provides the sophisticated, "scandi" aesthetic of linen but with significantly higher durability and wrinkle resistance. Does it actually feel like real linen? Yes. Unlike cheap synthetic imitations, our eco-natural blend undergoes a specific finishing process to remove the "plastic" feel. It has a soft, slightly textured hand-feel that mimics the breathability and "cool-touch" of authentic linen, making it comfortable for both apparel and upholstery. While natural linen is beautiful, it has several functional drawbacks that this fabric solves:
Wrinkle Resistance: Natural linen creases the moment you sit on it. This polyester blend stays smooth and retains its shape.
Color Fastness: It holds dyes more deeply and is much more resistant to UV fading, which is essential for curtains and sunny rooms.
Stability: It won't shrink or stretch significantly when washed, a common issue with pure flax fibers.
