Heavyweight with a subtle lustrous weave gives this dense and ultra-smooth fabric a sense of luxury. It has a special coating for Latex inks and is recommended for the creation of stunning home interiors, upholstery, duvet covers and bags. Please note textile widths will vary +/- 2% from batch to batch due to variances in finishing/processing. Certified for HP Latex inks. Heat fixation after printing is required for textiles that will need to be washed in the future.What exactly is Poly-Lycra fabric? Poly-Lycra is a synthetic blend of polyester and Lycra (also known as spandex or elastane). This combination creates a material that pairs the durability and printability of polyester with the incredible elasticity of Lycra. It is the industry standard for garments and displays that require a "body-hugging" or tensioned fit. What is the difference between 2-way and 4-way stretch? Our Poly-Lycra is a 4-way stretch fabric. While 2-way stretch only expands in one direction (usually crosswise), 4-way stretch expands both crosswise and lengthwise. This allows for total freedom of movement in sportswear and ensures a perfectly smooth, wrinkle-free finish when stretched over display frames or furniture. Is Poly-Lycra moisture-wicking? Yes. The polyester component of the blend is naturally hydrophobic, meaning it doesn't absorb much water. Instead, it "wicks" moisture away from the skin to the surface of the fabric where it can evaporate quickly. This makes it a top choice for athletic apparel, leggings, and swimwear.
