What is Flag Fabric made from?
Our standard Flag Fabric is a 115gsm knitted polyester. This specific weight and knit are chosen because they are light enough to fly in a light breeze but strong enough to withstand the mechanical stress of constant movement in higher winds.
What is the "show-through" on this material?
Because the fabric is a single-layer knit, the ink permeates through to the other side. You get approximately 90% show-through, meaning your design is clearly visible on the reverse as a "mirror image." This is the standard for almost all commercial flags used worldwide.
Is the fabric fire-rated for indoor use?
Yes. All our flag materials are B1 fire-rated. This is an essential safety requirement for use at indoor exhibitions, shopping centers, and sporting arenas across the UK and Europe.
