Our impact-resistant polystyrene (or HIPS) is ideal for everyday markers and displays, and is a smart, durable solution for common print advertising needs. Durable PVC with up to 7 times greater impact resistance than regular polystyrene, Rigid PVC offers outstanding performance at a reasonable price. Lightweight yet durable and strong, the 1mm thick PVC enables high-quality print reproduction with outstanding colours and sharp images.

You can also use our services to create stunning custom displays that you can use over and over again. We also offer custom shape cutting, as well as radius or square corner options for a professional yet unique look. Print on one or both sides and choose from a variety of finishes such as matte laminates and glossy laminates. For signs which need updating frequently, you can add dry erase panels which can be written on and easily wiped clean.

What is Rigid PVC (Foamex) printing?
Rigid PVC, commonly known by the brand name Foamex, is a compressed PVC board with a smooth, matte finish. Despite the "foam" in the name, it is a solid, hard-wearing plastic sheet that is much denser and more durable than traditional foam-core boards. It is the preferred material for long-term indoor and mid-term outdoor signage.
What thicknesses are available for Rigid PVC?
We offer three standard thicknesses to suit different applications: 3mm: Ideal for point-of-sale (POS) displays, exhibition wall cladding, and lightweight indoor signs. 5mm: The most popular "all-rounder" for general signage, menu boards, and outdoor site signs. 10mm: High-strength boards for premium office branding, freestanding displays, and heavy-duty industrial signage.
Is Rigid PVC waterproof and suitable for outdoors?
Yes. Rigid PVC is 100% waterproof and weather-resistant. It does not absorb moisture, so it won't swell or delaminate when exposed to rain. When printed with our UV-stable inks, these boards can last outdoors for up to 3–5 years without significant fading.
