What is a tension fabric lightbox?
A tension fabric lightbox is a premium display system consisting of a heavy-duty $100\text{mm}$ or $120\text{mm}$ aluminium frame with integrated LED lighting. A high-definition fabric graphic, finished with a silicone edge (SEG), is tucked into a groove in the frame. This creates a drum-tight, borderless, and illuminated image that is far more vibrant than traditional non-lit banners.
How does the "Tension Fabric" stay in place?
The graphics feature a thin silicone strip sewn directly into the edges, known as SEG (Silicone Edge Graphics). You simply push the silicone strip into the recessed channel of the aluminium frame. This creates a perfectly flat, wrinkle-free surface without the need for clips, Velcro, or specialized tools.
Can I change the graphics myself?
One of the biggest benefits of the $1\text{m} \times 2.2\text{m}$ lightbox is how easy it is to update. You do not need to replace the entire unit or hire an installer. You can simply order a replacement fabric print, pull out the old one using the small discreet pull-tab, and press the new one in. This makes it perfect for seasonal retail promotions.
